Socket Design

We realize that the socket fit is the critical component in all our prosthetic designs. We custom contour each socket by hand to fit the bones, muscles, vascular and nerve areas of the residual limb. The result is a socket that has total contact and even pressure throughout the limb. This attention to detail provides each patient with greater comfort, increased muscle function, better suspension and a greater range of motion. Fittings, alignments and gait adjustments are customized, not only to each patient’s specific functional needs, but are performed until they attain the highest level of satisfaction and comfort. We don’t stop until each patient is completely satisfied.
